That is up there with one of the best stories I've ever read.
I guess everyone needs an Uncle Ernest in their lives.  I wonder if that Harper fish hole is still a well kept secret?  This California kid has an adversion to Gattors and cotton mouths or it would be a paradise to own.  Did his kids keep the property?
